Sovcombank says IFRS net profit triples to 26 bln rbl in Jan–Jun

MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s Sovcombank tripled to 26.204 billion rubles in January–June from 10 billion rubles in the same period in 2020, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a report on Tuesday.

The net interest income increased by 60% to 40.726 billion rubles, while the net commission income rose by 32.8% to 14.793 billion rubles.

The bank’s assets grew by 25% in the reported period to 1.854 trillion rubles, and the shareholders’ equity rose by 9.9% to 206.906 billion rubles.
